Obituary for Antonio Martino Carlson

Antonio Martino Carlson passed away on August 18th, 2022 at the age of 42. A great friend to many, Antonio was a great communicator with a wonderful sense of humor. He would often share stories of how he saved people’s lives. Antonio had a warm sensitive heart for people and wasn’t afraid to show it. He was very empathic and loved deeply. He also had a mischievous side; he loved pulling pranks, telling jokes and making others laugh.

Antonio was a true patriot. He was an avid history buff and loved learning about WWI and WWII. Plus, he loved adventures of his own. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hiking, and the Fall. He loved thunderstorms and taking care of animals. Antonio’s favorite place to live was Duluth and visiting Lake Superior. He also loved the holidays and celebrations of all kinds.

Antonio also had strong artistic qualities. He loved drawing and making model planes and cars. He was an excellent self taught electric and acoustic guitar musician. He enjoyed writing his own music. He collected several guitars over the years. Antonio was passionate about music and loved going to concerts. His favorite musicians included Johnny Cash, Joe Nichols, Slayer, Pantera, Danzig, Misfits, Guns N Roses, Velvet Revolver, Nine Inch Nails, Metallica, and Billie Eilish. Antonio had a passion for cinema and the paranormal & loved antiques, and Star Wars memorabilia that he collected. He also loved visiting car shows.

We will always celebrate the great memories of Antonio. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. He will be missed beyond words. He will live forever in our hearts until we meet again.
