Aloise “Posy” Smith, 85 years old, changed her address to heaven on March 7, 2020 to be closer to her parents, J. Seneca and Rose Jones. She joins her siblings Etheldreda Radulescu; Daniel Jones; J. Grandel Jones; Maryanne Simes and dear friend Carl Eidnes. Posy grew up in St. Paul, attended the University of Minnesota and raised her family in Edina.
She is survived by four loving daughters: Pamela (Mike) Latanision of Chanhassen, MN; Penny (Jim) Smith of McLean, VA; Paula (Eames) Gilmore of Eden Prairie, MN; Patrice (Louis) Friedman of New York, NY and cherished grandchildren: Alexandra and Grant Latanision; James Smith; Lindsey (Kevin) Reilly and Andrew (Kristin) Gilmore; Elise and Teddy Friedman.
Posy had a great sense of style and believed in the power of lipstick. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering for her teams. Posy had a sweet tooth that she passed on to her girls!

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday March 12, 2020, 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Our Lady of Grace, 5071 Eden Avenue. Visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at Church. Private interment Resurrection Cemetery. Please celebrate Posy with an Act of Kindness.
