Cornell “Cory” Michael Eull, left this world on December 24, 2018, surrounded by his family and
friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Flora. He is survived by his loving daughter, Erin
(Joe) Rothfuss, and future grandchild in May; father, “Marvelous” Marvin (Gretchen) Eull; siblings,
Brian (Donna) Eull, Bill (Liz) Eull, Marty (Jeanne) Eull, Andrea (Jon) Jorgenson, and Stephanie
(Matt) Magers; 15 nieces and nephews; and countless loving family and friends, especially his longtime friend, Debbie Buhrz and her daughters, Angie Gleason (Brian), Mandi Briggs, and Amber Homerin (Matt). Cory will be
remembered as a salt of the earth, easy-going, funny, generous man who loved a good crossword
puzzle and card game. After working in construction for over 30 years, there was nothing Cory
couldn’t build or fix. He shared his knowledge and expertise with anyone and everyone who needed
it. Never a flashy man, he looked forward to his time at Star Lake every summer, golfing, fishing and
joking with his life-long friends. Words cannot describe the pain felt, nor the void left by Cory’s
passing. A celebration of Cory’s life will be on Thursday, January 3rd at Gill Brothers Funeral Home,
9947 Lyndale Ave South. Bloomington, MN from 5-8 p.m. with a time of sharing starting at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a memorial tree be planted in his Cory’s honor, or any
donations in Cory’s name be directed to Habitat for Humanity.
