Richard will be missed indeed.
Richard was a good man, more than that he was a man that extended grace to me as I was often times a confused young person that didn't quite know what to do all the time. From my point of view he was a good dad to my long time friend Phil; Richard was really good at the tough love thing, my dad is the same way.
I can remember going out on the boat on Lake Minnetonka with Phil, Richard and Sharon and just having fun, we hung out and all seemed right in the world. There has been many times that I have encountered great people that seem to know just how to make an impact on a young persons life, Richard is one of them. Richard and Sharon have continued to bless me and my family by having us over on occasion, and by gifting a violin to my son so he could get started with lessons.
Thanks to the entire Goetzen Family for showing love when it needed to be shown.
Justin & Family
