Mary McDonough SCholz, 79, of Edina, MN, passed away peacefully in Naples, Florida on March 29, 2012.  Mary was born on August 14, 1932 in Minneapolis, MN to Coleman and Nellie (O’Hara) McDonough of County Galway, Ireland.  She was preceded in death by loving husband: Donald Alexander; brothers, Mike and Jim McDonough. Mary was a doting mother and caregiver to children John, Mike, Mark and Moira and daughters in law: Peggy, Laura and Barb.  Grandma Mary was a loving and caring friend to Maggie, Ellie, Taylor, Nolan, Emmett, Jack, Kendall, Mary and Michael.  Grandma Mary lived in the moment and her service to friends, family and strangers was unwavering. Also survived by Nellie & Susie her four legged friends.  Mass of Christian Burial Monday 11 AM at the Church of St. Patrick, 6820 St. Patrick’s Lane, Edina.  Visitation Sunday 3-6 PM in the Celtic Center at St. Patrick’s Church and 1 hour prior to mass. Griffith, Edwin Eugene "Mick"

age 87 of Bloomington.  Passed away peacefully on March 23, 2012.  Born March 9, 1925 in Des Moines, Iowa to James and Anna (Miller) Griffith.  Preceded in death by beloved wife, Doris.  Survived by his 3 sons, Kirk (Carol), Brad (Pat), and Todd (Karen); 8 grandchildren, Tracy (Jascha), Katie (Scott), Sarah, Chad, Michelle, Kyle, Adam and Nick (Lacey); great grandchildren, Brody and Savanna.  He served as a WW II Marine Corps Medic, worked in sales and for the MTC bus company.  A gentle man with a big heart, great sense of humor - he was loved by all.  Funeral service Tuesday, 10:30 AM at Faith Convenant Church, 12921 Nicollet Avenue South, Burnsville, MN.  Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.  Visitation Monday, 5-8 PM at Gill Brothers Bloomington Home ~ 9947 Lyndale Avenue South and one hour prior to service at church.

Bernice Jean Schaefer (nee Allen), age 87 of The Colony at Eden Prairie and a former longtime resident of Bloomington, Minnesota.  Born July 20, 1924 in Grand Meadow, Minnesota, passed away peacefully March 23, 2012.  Preceded in death by husband of 63 years, Frederick; parents, Charles and Laura Allen; 1 sister and 2 brothers. Survived by children, Charles Schaefer, Steven (Barbara) Schaefer, Patricia (Christopher) Conroy and Pamela (Steven) Otteson; grandchildren, Jennifer, Patrick, Christina (Bernard Bartos), Kalyn, Stefanie and Kimberly; great- grandsons, Colin and Parker; 2 brothers; 1 sister; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.   Bernice was a longtime Parishioner of Nativity of Mary Catholic Church and a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, baking and playing Scrabble and Bingo. The family would like to thank the staff at The Colony at Eden Prairie for their support and care throughout the journey.  Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Tuesday at the Church of the Nativity of Mary, 9900 Lyndale Ave. S., Bloomington.
