Gertrude Frances Fisher (Nee Adelmann)

Gertrude Fisher, age 93 of Richfield died on April 30, 2012. Preceded in death by husband, David; sons, Frederick and Daniel; siblings, Karl, Leonard, Ben, Bernie, Cecilia and Herman; son-in-law, Gil Wentzel. Survived by sons, Steven, Richard (Mary); daughter, Carol Wentzel; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Tesarek; brother, Norbert (Joan).

Gertrude was a cook at the Richfield Public Schools from 1959-1981, honorary member of the Ladies Auxiliaries at VFW Post 5555, Knights of Columbus Marian Council #3827 and American Legion Post 435.

Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, May 4, 2012 at 10 AM at the Church of the Assumption, 305 E. 77th St. Visitation, Thursday  4-7 PM at Gill Brothers Funeral Home 9947 Lyndale Ave S. Bloomington and one hour prior to Mass at the Church on Friday. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
