Helena Koenig
Koenig, Helena 88 years of age, passed away on May 28, 2012 in Minneapolis. She was born in Pacasmayo, Peru on July 6, 1923 and found her way to Minneapolis where she came to study. She proudly became a U.S. citizen and stayed happily for fifty years. Helena was a strong and independent woman who had a great love for children, an unyielding loyalty to her friends and family, and was always there to support and lend a helping hand to those in need. She will be honored and deeply missed by her friends and family in Minnesota and in Peru. more »
Clifton Leslie Jacobson
Jacobson, Clifton Leslie Age 80 of New Brighton died peacefully at home Friday, June 1. Clifton (Cliff) was born in 1932 in Borup, Minnesota. He graduated from Moorhead State College in 1954 and married Betty Beaudin that same year.
Cliff was in education for 37 years. He worked as teacher and coach in Balaton, Chokio and Brooten before spending 26 years in administration at Centennial School District in Circle Pines. Cliff also served on the Mounds View School Board for 12 years. more »
