Jeanne Montag age 81, died on November 2, 2011 at N.C. Little Memorial Hospice
in Edina. She was born June 27, 1930, to Robert M and Margaret "Peg" Loss in
Algona, Iowa. She grew up on the family farm west of Algona with her two
younger brothers Dean and Merle. It was on the farm where Jeanne developed her
life-long love of animals. Jeanne attended St. Cecelia’s Academy. On May 4,
1950, Jeanne was united in marriage to Patrick R. Montag at St. Cecelia’s
