Dennis Dean Hellervik, Born 8/31/1937 in Montevideo, MN and passed away 9/4/2018 in Bloomington, MN. Preceded in death by his parents, Arne and Guida (Kittleson) Hellervik and daughter Linda Hellervik. Survived by his wife, Tho, his brother, Lowell (Cay), his children Mark (Deanna), Diane (Skip) Flanagan, Scott (Suzi), and his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and their families. Dennis relocated to Pasadena, CA when he was a junior in high school but left high school to join the US Navy for 4 years as a power plant mechanic. He married Darlene (Helsby) in 1957 and they had two sons and a daughter. Dennis worked as a Los Angeles Regional Manager for Robert Hall Men's Stores and then enlisted in the US Air Force for 4 years. He and Darlene divorced and Dennis then became a Utilities Manager for Pacific Architects and Engineers in Viet Nam. While living there, he met and married Tho and adopted her daughter. In 1975, they returned to Minnesota and lived in Bloomington. Dennis worked for, then owned, and ultimately retired from Energy Conservation Consultants.
