Eileen S. Roedl age 92 of SW Minneapolis died peacefully surrounded by family on August 2, 2018. Eileen was a lifelong Minneapolis resident. She graduated from South High and worked many years at Dayton’s Department Store downtown. Preceded in death by husband, Eugene; infant son, David. Survived by children, Joseph (Fiona) Roedl and Susan Roedl; grandchildren, Erika, Alexa and Kendra; sister, Anne Fowler. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 11:30 a.m. at the Church of Christ the King, 5029 Zenith Ave. So. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 5-7 p.m. at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 5801 Lyndale Ave. So. and one hour prior to Mass at church. Memorials preferred to the Audubon Society.
