Age 88, of Bloomington, died peacefully surrounded by family on June 18, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen (Wahl) Hanninen; parents, John & Hilda (Ojala) Hanninen; 4 brothers & 6 sisters. Survived by daughters, Pam (Mike) Smith, Cindy (Beth); sons, Rob (Julie), Mark (Gail); grandchildren, Michelle, Kyle, Daniel, Paul (Rachel), Ryan, Nicole (Aaron), Ashley; great-grandchildren, Emily & Olivia; sister, Marie Renner; many friends & relatives. Special thanks to Fairview Home Care and Hospice. Memorial Service will be on Monday, June 25th 12 noon at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 9947 Lyndale Ave S, Bloomington. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
