Jared Blesener, a musician and life-long resident of Minneapolis, MN, died at home on May 5, 2018, at the age of 22.
Jared is survived by his parents, Tom and Ginny, his brother, Kyle, and his fiancé, Gabriel.
Jared was born in Minneapolis on July 5, 1995. He graduated from the University of Minnesota, in May 2017, with a degree in Sociology. He worked full time in addition to pursuing his passion of creating and working in music. His music of choice for composition was electronic. He wrote and programmed his own songs, which can be heard at https://soundcloud.com/abel-tostudy and also at soundcloud, under the artist “ellose”. He often played at local venues.
Jared’s relationships with his family, fiancé, and friends were very important to him. He had a passion for life that included music, travel, and learning new things. He would often research, in great detail, subjects that interested him-from music, cooking, and atheism, to Norwegian language and how the brain works.
Jared was kind, sensitive, and thoughtful and loved by many. He is deeply missed by his family, fiancé, friends, and all who knew him.
A service to honor Jared’s life is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on May 12, 2018 at the Gill Brothers Funeral Home at 5801 Lyndale Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55419.
Jared would be happy if you made a donation (in lieu of flowers) to KFAI radio station, in Minneapolis, specifically for the Temposphere show, which Jared often co-hosted over the past several years.
