Margaret Joanne  Anderson (Levis)
Margie Anderson - A loving mother, grandmother, and devoted friend peacefully passed away,
surrounded by her loving family on May 1, 2018. Margie's family and friends were her passion.
She welcomed all to her home and cabin on Gull Lake. Margie was a bright force in all the lives
she touched and will be deeply missed.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Anderson; sister, Sally Gimtro; mother and father John and Mary Levis. She is survived by her children, John and Julie Anderson, Susan Korzinski, MaryBeth and David Anderson; grandchildren, Lauren and Erik Anderson, MacKenzie, Madison and Glenn Korzinski, Tommy, Morgan and Maggie Anderson.

Margie was born October 2, 1931 in Brainerd, MN. She graduated from Brainerd High School in
1949 and Carleton College in 1953. She worked as an assistant resource manager for
Montgomery Wards where she met her husband, Glenn. They settled in Edina in 1957 to start their family. Margie was an active volunteer and supported many community and philanthropic organizations. Margie moved to Friendship Village in 2015 where she was able to enjoy her friends, old and new.

Margie lived life, enjoyed life, and was so thankful for her family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at Normandale Lutheran Church in Edina on Monday, May 7th at 11:00 a.m.
Visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. and lunch to follow.
