Obituary for Timothy Stephen Leahy

age 76, of Bloomington. Grew up in Maple Lake, MN. Graduate of Saint John's Univ., Collegeville, MN, 1964. US Navy Veteran—Vietnam. Served as fiscal analyst for US Dept of Navy missile programs. Retired after many years as budget analyst with State of MN. Second career as gate agent for Mesaba Airlines. World traveler, avid birder, opera lover, ardent biker, eager coach, adept tennis & handball player, diehard Twins/Gophers fan, Scrabble enthusiast, debater of politics & list-maker extraordinaire. Collector of stamps, baseball caps, beer/pop cans and life-long friends. His positive attitude & optimism, especially during his illness, inspired us all. Survived by his wife of nearly 47 years, Paula Adeline (nee Coduti); son Joseph (Rebecca) & grandchildren, Justin & Mary-Adeline, of Houston, TX; son Dan (Kelly) of Mpls; sisters Molly Jacobs & Nora (John) Eull; dear nieces & nephews, beloved cousins, and countless devoted friends. Preceded in death by elder brother, James "Mino" Leahy & brother-in-law, Patrick Jacobs. Funeral Mass: 11 AM Tues, May 8 at St. Joan of Arc, 4537 3rd Ave S, Mpls. Visitations: 1hr prior at church & 4-7 PM, Mon, May 7 at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 9947 Lyndale Avenue South, Bloomington.
