Age 91, of Bloomington passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 15, 2018. Preceded in death by loving husband of 66 years, Ralph, daughter Mary and parents Leonard and Mary (Gerold) Hoffman. Survived by children Craig (Carol), Julie (Dale Studenski), Renee (Jeff) Bergo, Keith (Kim) and John and grandchildren Matt (Sao), Jessica (Brian), Kate, Nick, A. J., Jackie, Steven, Kory and Kole and step great grandchildren Hannah, Hallie and Will Gallmeier.She also is survived by brother Lambert (Betty) and in-laws Bernice, Marcy, Loretta, and Marianne Hoffman, and Virgil, Robert (Marianne), Earl (Mary), Joseph (Rosie),Rissy and Rosie Schoenecker, Rosemary Lambrecht and Donna Peller and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings Vivian (Leonard) Deutsch,Marie Schoenecker,Adelbert (Delores), Virgil, Arvid, Beatus and Germain Hoffman and in-laws Ervin (Mary), Lee and Richard Schoenecker, Delores (Howard) Gosewisch, Joseph Lambrecht and Dave Peller. Ritaworked in a glider factory during World War II and at Brown and Bigelow afterwards. She was a stay at home mom for many years and finished her career as an aid at Eagle Nursing Home. She loved her faith, baking rhubarb pie, sewing, gardening, fishing, baseball, travel with Ralph and most of all she loved her family. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday April 24th at 10:00 AM at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church, 9900 Lyndale Ave, Bloomington. Visitation will be on Monday, April 23rdfrom 4 to 8 with a prayer service at 7:30 PM at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 9947 Lyndale Ave S. Bloomington, and for one hour prior to Mass at the church. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
