Susan Marie Kludt
Age 68 of Bloomington, Minnesota. Born August 30th, 1949 in Huron, South Dakota to Calvin and Doris (Rieck) Kludt. Susan grew up on the family farm and graduated from Alpena High School in 1967 and Nettleton Business College of Omaha in 1968. Susan moved to the Twin Cities area in 1968 where she made her home until her death. She spent her career in the computer tech support field and retired from Accenture in 2016. She loved the Hawaiian Islands and made frequent trips to Kauai, and enjoyed sitting on the lanai watching for whales, sea turtles and Hawaiian monk seals. She was an avid reader and enjoyed reading a book with her special cats curled up on her lap. Stampin' Up! was a treasured hobby, making many cards for family and friends. She had a deep passion for nature, the environment and wildlife. Preceded in death by parents, Calvin and Doris. Survived by sisters, Shirley (Dale) Kogel, Janene (Cliff) Jager, and Joan (Ron) Russell; many nieces and nephews and special friends. Memorial service will be Saturday, April 28th, 2018 at 2 PM ~ Gill Brothers Bloomington Chapel, 9947 Lyndale Avenue South, Bloomington, Minnesota 55420. Visitation one hour prior to service. Memorial service will also be Saturday, May 19th, 2018 at 2 PM at Welters Funeral Home in Huron, South Dakota. Interment~ Restlawn Memory Gardens, Huron, South Dakota.
