Obituary for Raymond Jacob Nohner

Raymond Jacob  Nohner
Raymond Jacob Nohner, age 97 of Richfield. Raymond was a WWII Army Veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star Medal. He was a member of VFW Post 1296, the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. Raymond was a long-time employee of Minnegasco and enjoyed ballroom dancing and square dancing. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Preceded in death by his wife of 69 ½ years, Lorraine; parents, Anton and Theresia Nohner; brother, Leander Nohner and sister, Aurelia Ashfeld. Survived by children, Mary Jo and Richard; sisters, Leona Arnold and Marcella Lee. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 9, 2018 at the church of St. Peter, 6730 Nicollet Ave. S, Richfield with visitation one hour prior to mass only. Lunch will be served at St. Peters following the mass. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
