I'm glad I was there for Gary's service. It was so good to see you and Ronnie and Mike again. I wish it could have been under happier circumstances. Gary was a great guy. He and Arne were my best friends growing up. We had some really great times, and I will always cherish those memories. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Condolence: Gary was a good friend to me and we caught a lot of fish together. He was a hard working man who lived a frugal life and prided himself on always paying his own way. Gary was one of the most honest and trustworthy people I knew. When he had something to tell you, it was the unvarnished truth. In recent years I met his Mom Corene when I took him to visit her. Gary would often tell me how he tried to visit her more. I know he loved his Mom very much. I regret I can't attend Gary's funeral because I'm out in Rapid City this week on business.
