Obituary for Patrick Nicholas Claeys

Patrick Nicholas Claeys
Patrick Nicholas Claeys age 26 of Bloomington passed away peacefully on December 4, 2017. Patrick, our special boy was born on December 10, 1990 and helped us all rediscover joy, excitement, friendship, inclusion, and love for everyone. We loved experiencing his favorite things by his side, such as the Christmas season, setting up elaborate dinner parties, the Minnesota State Fair, and meeting his mascot heroes like Mickey Mouse, Goldy Gopher, and TC Bear. An entire village helped Patrick thrive.
Many thanks to the doctors and other professionals at Minneapolis Children's Hospital, Abbott Northwestern Hospital, the Bloomington Schools, Workabilities, and the many people who helped us at our home. We will remember you all forever.
Preceded in death by father, Richard; grandfathers, Donald Claeys and Charles Hruska. Survived by mother, Lucinda Hruska-Claeys; sister, Meredith (David) Kruse; grandmothers, Doris Claeys, Virginia Hruska; many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
