Ann G. Gleason (nee Brennan)
Age 91, of St. Louis Park, formerly of Bloomington, died peacefully on November 23, 2017, after a brief struggle with cancer. Ann was a Registered Nurse (RN) who worked in hospital, medical office, and private settings. She graduated from Washburn High School and the College of St. Catherine. Ann was a life-long artist, avid bridge player, and graceful ballroom dancer. She loved gardening, fishing, genealogy. and all things Irish. Ann is survived by daughters, Mary Gleason-Ricker (Scott Ricker), Maureen Gleason (Michael Vaughn), Kathleen Bright (Doug), Pat Gleason (Kim Swanson), Peggy Gleason (Rob Pendleton), Molly Gleason Bebchuk (Joseph); sons, James (Linda), Joseph (Kathy), and Stephen (RaNal); sister, Jeanne Swift Fitzimons; brother, Frank Brennan; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Bill Gleason, in 2014; brothers, James and Mark. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her from the time of her first move to assisted living until the present. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, 11 AM at the Church of the Nativity of Mary, 9900 Lyndale Ave. So. with visitation one hour prior to mass at church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Catherine University, formerly the College of St. Catherine.
