To the family and friends of Barbara, My name is Connie Suchta and I had the honor and privilege of visiting you mom each week as a hospice volunteer. I am so sorry for your loss. It matters little if she was ready and/or if it was her time: there is always something about the finality of death that can leave us unprepared for the moment it actaully comes. I had hoped to catch her memorial and meet you but mistakenly looked for the details of her memorial in the St. Paul paper only. Barbara was an amazing women!!! From the very get go, we connected and I knew I had met a new friend. She was such a class act and always interested in everything including who was in the room at the time. I, in turn, came away each week with life lessons on how to age, live in a nursing home and die. Sincerely, it WAS an honor to know Barbara. Thank you for sharing her with me.
