Age 92 on November 7, 2017. Born in Silverton, Oregon on October 20, 1925 to Jacob A. and Henriette (Berning) Kaiser, she grew up in what she called "God's Country", Mt. Angel, Oregon. While training as an RN in Seattle, Washington, she met her future husband, George E. Frenz, and after their marriage in 1947, they made Minneapolis their home. Myra dedicated her life to God and family. She will be remembered for her unconditional love, fabulous food and amazing stories. Preceded in death by her husband, George; son,Mark; grandson Greg Kostik; great-grandaughter Emily Kostik ; and sister Ruth (Bill) Waters. Survived by niine children, Jane (David) Kostik, Nancy (Jack) Grace, Ann (John) O'Leary, Peter (Lynn Lukkas), John (Sara), Paul (Rita), Joseph (Jodie), Stephen (Jennifer), and Mary (Matthew) Paquette; daughter-in-law, Carol Frenz; 30 grandchildren, Chris (Lisa) and Ruth Kostik, Brian (Katie) Grace, Emily (Andy) Goenner, Ellen (James) Westin, Bridge (Mike) Kelly, Elizabeth (Emmanuel Antonarakis) and John (Natalya Etina) O'Leary, Jacob (Lauren) Frenz, Jane (Chas) Puntillo, Becca Frenz, Eva (John) Peragallo, Nik Frenz, Sarah Maderich, Evan and Charlie Frenz, Andrew (Lyndsey), Michael, Jonathan, Anna, and Mark Frenz, Jessica (Baylor) Radtke, Jenny Frenz, Drew (Melanie), Rachel and Sarah Frenz, Mary Therese, Katie, Teresa, and Jane Paquette; 22 great-grandchildren, Alex and Emma Kostik, Jack and Greta Grace, Anna and Allison Goenner, James, Jacob, and Grace Westin, Ava and MorganKelly, Stylianos, Ann and Sophia Antonarakis, Wyatt Frenz, Genevieve Puntillo, John Peragallo, Jackson Jeffries, Clara, Issac and (?) Frenz, Anzl and Aven Radtke; sister Irma (George) Baldwin. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, November 11th at 10 am ~ Church of the Annunciation, 509 West 54th Street. Interment ~ Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation on Friday, 5-8 pm at Gill Brothers Southwest Chapel, 5801 Lyndale Avenue South. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Prolife Across America, St. Paul's Outreach, or Abria.
