Schultz, Gloria Mae. (nee Hasse) age 90 of Bloomington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace Hospice in St. Paul. Gloria was born in Chaska, Minnesota on September 15, 1927 to Ida and William Hasse. She graduated from Chaska High School in 1945 where she met the love of her life Ken Schultz. She completed her RN nurse training from Idle Hospital in 1948. Together Ken and Gloria had four children – Jeff, Cindy, Linda and Terry. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother. She loved spending time at her cabin on Lake Inguadona, where she went fishing, played cards and spent time with family and friends. She also had a love for all animals, whether it was petting a family dog or feeding the birds, her kindness was shown to all. Her big heart, beautiful smile and unconditional love and support will be sorely missed. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ken, son Terry and brother Warren (Mary Lou) Hasse. Gloria will be remembered by her children Jeff (Linda) Schultz, Cindy Koelling and Linda (Don) Belcourt; grandchildren – Claire, Gudrun, Eve (Steve), Benjamin (Sarah), Ingrid, Greta (Matt), Martin, Ursula; Nathan (Melissa), Tommy, Christian (Jennie); Dan (Sarah), Darcy (Chuck) and Kathryn (Mike). Great-grand children - Mia, Ava, Daniel, Estella, Charlotte, Norah, Jacob and Ava. Gloria was a beautiful soul and will be missed by so many. A funeral Mass followed by reception will be held on Friday, November 10 at 10:00 AM at the Nativity of Mary Church, 9900 Lyndale Ave S., Bloomington, MN 55420. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 9:00 AM.
