John Joseph Goodyear age 56, of Edina passed away on 10/27/17 surrounded by family. John was an amazing husband, father, brother and friend who would do anything he could to help others.

Survived by wife of 33 years, Penny (Pray); sons, Mike(Morgan) and Nick (Brooke); sister, Maggie (Bruce); brothers, Tom (Karalyn) and Tim (Molly); brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces.

Preceded in death by parents, Harry J. Goodyear, Jr. and Mary Patricia Goodyear; and sister,Kathryn.

John graduated from Edina West High School and the University of St. Thomas.

Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, 11/3/17 at 1:30pm at The Basilica of St. Mary, 1600 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis. Visitation Thursday, 11/2 from 5-8pm at Gill Brothers Funeral Home 5801 Lyndale Ave S, Mpls.
