Just heard about the passing of Dr. Oakes and I share the heartbreak of so many. He was one of the kindest, most compassionate humans I have met. I have had four pets of various temperaments receive his care, and no matter how freaked out or nervous they were, his calm presence relaxed them (and me). Sending thoughts, prayers and love to the Oakes Family and the Diamond Lake family. May the knowledge that Dr. Oakes was so beloved by so many give you peace. I know you will continue his legacy for years to come. ThANK YOU Dr. Oakes for everything.
