Jerome Harley  Imsdahl
Age 94 of Richfield, was born in Grand Forks, ND on November 25, 1922, and passed on October 5, 2017. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Ione, parents Henry and Agnes Imsdahl, brothers Vernon and Donald, and son-in-law Robert Lamb. He is survived by sister Phyllis Towns, daughters Virginia (Terry) Keegan, Sherrie Lamb, Michelle (David) McNally, sons, John (Rita) and Mark (Gloria), 15 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Jerry fondly recalled time spent growing up with family members on their farm in the Red River valley. He served in the US Army Air Corps, primarily in Libya, during WWII. Returning home, he attained a business degree from UND. Upon graduation, he moved his family to the Twin Cities to begin a career, which eventually led to ownership of Carpet World, in Bloomington. Family gatherings topped his list of favorite activities. Otherwise, his lifelong hobby and social life revolved around ballroom dancing with Ione. He also enjoyed being an active member of St. Peter’s Church in Richfield. Private family services. Memorials may be made to St. Peter’s Church or Blessed Trinity School.
