Condolence From: Honey and Jack O'Leary
Condolence: Jack and I remember Phil with great fondness. We were in the graduate Theology Program at Manhattan College together in the late 60's. I especially remember going with Phil to a Nova Core Retreat with the undergraduate students. It was the occasion at which Phil and Rosemary met. It was not a surprise that these two gentle people fell in love. I also remember Phil and Rosemary visiting us at our apartment in Jackson Heights. It was such a joy to share our new found love with them. The sad thing is that we were not able to connect during their recent visit to California. "Maybe next time," Phil said. Next time in heaven, Phil.

Condolence: I am so saddened that Philip is gone from us. He was such a quiet and caring man who valued family. He did his best to keep track of everyone. He was my mother's cousin and older than I but always friendly and caring. He loved my mother and shared many stories that were priceless to me. I'm happy that he died doing what he loved. We will miss him.48
