Schaffer, Philip Anthony
Age 77, of Richfield passed away on October 4, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, John "Anthony" & Helen, brother Daniel. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; children, John, Rhonda, & Michael (Jessica). Philip retired from the United States Postal Service and began teaching violin and piano to students of all ages. He had a passion for flight which included building his own plane over the course of 20 plus years. He enjoyed camping, fishing , and traveling with his family. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday October 16, 11 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 4573 3rd Ave S, Minneapolis. Visitation Sunday October 15 from 4-7 PM at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 5801 Lyndale Ave S, Minneapolis, and 1 hour prior to Mass at the church.
