David Peter  O'Sullivan
David Peter O’Sullivan age 71 of Richfield, MN (originally from Listowel, Ireland) died at NC Little Hospice on September 24, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Evelyn and his sister, Mary. He is survived by wife, Paula Welter; children, Kristel, Peter Maurice “PM”, Marijke, and Ned; granddaughter, Eske; brothers, Maurice and Peter, and many, many nieces and nephews. David was a singular character with wide-ranging interests and talents. He spent his youth traveling the world on ships as a radio officer in the merchant marines; worked as a technical writer for a variety of industries; founded the St. Paul play group Na Fienna; and wrote and produced plays for theater and radio. Most recently he hosted the radio show Malarkey on KFAI radio. May the angels lead him into paradise, and like the poor Lazarus, may he have eternal rest.

Mass of Christian burial Thursday, September 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Paul, 239 Selby Avenue, reviewal from 10 to 11 in St. Joseph Chapel at the Cathedral. Funeral lunch following Mass at The Dubliner, 2162 University Avenue, St. Paul, MN. Visitation Wednesday, September 27th from 5 to 8 PM at Gill Brothers Funeral Home 5801 Lyndale Avenue, Minneapolis, MN. Rosary 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials preferred to N.C. Little Hospice.
