Stan then attended Northern State University in Aberdeen South Dakota - graduating with a Bachelors in business education and a minor in Political Science.

Stan moved to Minnesota, then Seattle where he met his spouse - Nona. They had two children - Eric and Randy. Both were raised with a combination of Nona and Stan's respective values of the benefits of love for others and hard work.
